We are currently docked at Shelter Bay Marina on the Caribbean side of the Panama Canal. After successfully prepping the "Ar Seiz Avel" for re-entry into the water last November, (photo taken on the hard November 23rd) we are now ready to begin our adventures exploring the Panama Coast and then north to Fort Lauderdale in the US before crossing the Atlantic to the north of Spain.
Upon packing up Barbara Ann's apartment in Vancouver this January we returned to the Panama little over a week ago to continue to prep for our travels. After extensive provisioning in Colon we are now poised to untie the lines from the dock. We have 60 miles to sail straight into strong trade winds in order to get to our first cruising destination the
Tomorrow February 5th
may be our window of opportunity as the forcast is for light winds.
